ESTEFAN KITCHEN CHARDONNAY - PRIVATE LABEL
COMPOSITION Grapes: 100% Chardonnay.
SENSORY A bright Chardonnay with clean, elegant notes of Meyer lemons and honeydew melon, aromas of peaches and golden pear. Hints of oak toast and caramelized apples. Pleasant and lingering.
CRAFTED Made of 100% Chardonnay from the Central Coast of California. Grown in a climate that is considered to have one of the longest growing seasons in California, which makes it perfect for growing cool climate varieties like Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Being a varietal originally from the Burgundy region of France, it does best in cooler climates. These grapes are sourced from two distinct vineyard sites with different soil types and meso-climates. The Pacific Ocean influence is very prominent in this area throughout the growing season. These grapes enjoy the cool, moisture-laden air and fog that penetrate deep into the valleys where this Chardonnay dominates. PAIRING Chardonnay tends to pair best with shellfish, such as lobster or crab with drawn butter, seared scallops with a lemon Beurre Blanc, or roast chicken in butter and herbs. Try it with something a little salty too, like buttered popcorn with sea salt, crispy French fries with garlicky, lemony aioli, or some nice briny Kumamoto or Blue Point oysters with mignonette.
CELLAR Place this in a cool, dark cellar, not to exceed 55˚ F. While this white is ready to drink right now, it should age gracefully until 2022 and beyond.
